Introduction

Pawnheart is a single-player, offline fantasy role-playing game for iOS. Your privacy matters, and this game is built to respect it: Pawnheart does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking, no user accounts, and no third-party services beyond Apple's own App Store for handling an optional purchase.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the app does and does not handle. By using Pawnheart, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. Pawnheart has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking technologies, no login or account system, and no third-party software development kits (SDKs). The app does not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and does not ask for permission to track you across other apps or websites.

All of your game data stays on your device:

• Game progress (your character, position, inventory, equipment, world state, and progression) is saved locally as a JSON file inside the app's private Documents folder on your device (savegame.json).
• Settings and stats (such as your chosen display name, difficulty selection, unlocked progression, valor totals, rank, and your personal best-score "leaderboard" entry) are stored locally in the app's on-device preferences (UserDefaults).

This information never leaves your device. We cannot see it, and it is not uploaded to any server. The in-game leaderboard shows only your own best score stored on your device — there is no online ranking, no competitor data, and no network connection involved. If you delete the app, this locally stored data is removed with it.

Purchases

Pawnheart offers one optional, non-consumable in-app purchase: the Premium account (product ID com.valorquest.premium). This purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit.

• We never see, receive, or store your payment details (such as your credit card number, billing address, or Apple ID). All billing is handled by Apple.
• Whether you own the Premium purchase is confirmed directly with Apple's App Store. The app keeps only a simple on-device flag ("premium: yes/no") so it can show your unlocked content without a network round-trip; the authoritative record lives in your Apple account.
• Because Premium is a non-consumable purchase, you can restore it for free on a new device or after reinstalling the app. Use the Restore Purchases button on the Premium screen in the shop. Restoring is handled by Apple's App Store and requires your Apple ID sign-in with Apple, not with us.

Your purchase history and payment information are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and the App Store terms, not by this policy.

Third Parties

Pawnheart uses no third-party services, SDKs, analytics providers, advertising networks, or trackers of any kind. The app links only against Apple's own frameworks.

The only external party involved is Apple, and only for the purpose of processing and restoring the optional Premium in-app purchase through the App Store. Apple's handling of that transaction is subject to Apple's own privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

Pawnheart is suitable for a broad audience consistent with the game's App Store age rating (fantasy content with only mild, cartoon-style, blood-free combat). Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, it collects no data from children. We do not knowingly gather any information from users of any age. Parents and guardians can manage in-app purchases using Apple's Screen Time, Ask to Buy, and Family Sharing controls.

Data Security

Because Pawnheart stores your game data only on your own device and transmits nothing to us or to any third party, there is no server-side database that could be breached and no personal data in transit for anyone to intercept. Your save file and settings are protected by the standard security and sandboxing of iOS, which keeps each app's data private to that app. Payment security for the optional purchase is provided by Apple.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, to reflect changes in the app or in legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page and post the updated policy at the same location. Continued use of Pawnheart after an update means you accept the revised policy. Since the app collects no data, we do not expect material changes to how your information is handled.
